KVCC Foundation Emergent Need Scholarship Fund
The KVCC Foundation established the KVCC Foundation Emergent Need Scholarship Fund to help students facing unexpected financial barriers that jeopardize KVCC enrollment and success. Please note that the Emergent Need Fund is unable to assist with the cost of tuition, exams, and fees. It is also not intended for routine living expenses. This fund is reserved for situations involving an unexpected hardship or a sudden change in circumstances that is outside of your control. If your needs are related to routine educational or living expenses, you are encouraged to apply for a summer or academic year scholarship through the KVCC Foundation webpage: https://www.kvcc.me.edu/foundation/scholarship-info-for-students
Recipients must be currently enrolled and participating in courses in the current semester. Applicants must be matriculated in a KVCC degree or certificate program, have completed a FAFSA, have demonstrated unmet financial need (federal methodology), and have a minimum 2.0 GPA.
