KVCC Foundation

Kennebec Valley Community College Foundation

Formed in 1991, the KVCC Foundation is an established 501(c) (3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting both the College and its students.  The Foundation solicits and accepts contributions and manages grants and investments to support student scholarships, technology and equipment upgrades, student employment, and student success resources. Since its inception, the Foundation has awarded over $3.2 million in student scholarships, opening the doors to education for more than 2,700 KVCC students. All gifts to the KVCC Foundation are tax-deductible to the extent of IRS law.

Mission

The KVCC Foundation engages supporters to invest in students, faculty, and programs, empowering individuals and building stronger communities. We achieve this goal by raising funds to promote and support all educational programs, provide state-of-the-art equipment and facilities, and ensure access through scholarship funds for students.

Students Success

KVCC students come from a variety of backgrounds and face many challenges in reaching their personal, professional, and academic goals. The KVCC Foundation is an essential resource to students, faculty, and programs designed to reduce barriers and enhance student success!

KVCC Foundation Scholars are grateful. In the words of a recent scholarship recipient: “I’d just like to say thank you again for your generosity. Every little bit of support you have provided helps ease some of my stress of getting through college. Thanks to the KVCC Foundation Scholarship, I’ll be able to focus on my studies and achieve my dream of becoming a Physical Therapist Assistant. I hope one day to provide support to others the same way you did for me.”

Board of Trustees

The Foundation is led by a dedicated Board of Trustees drawn from local and state-wide civic, banking, education, entrepreneurial, construction, agriculture, trades, and technology businesses and organizations. Trustees are committed to advancing the missions of the Foundation and the College and to securing contributions from individuals, corporations, and foundations.
