Become a member of the
Maine Workforce Development Compact
Benefits: It is FREE to join and takes very little time! Your organization will become eligible for training funds for frontline workers to participate in our trainings at KVCC. These grants match 50% of training costs – up to $1200 per employee each calendar year – of Maine Workforce Development Compact Members!
How to join:
• Step 1: An administrator from your organization completes a short application.
• Step 2: An MCCS Workforce Development Coordinator will be assigned to your application as a guide.
• Step 3: Once all information has been provided, a Memorandum of Agreement is sent via email to be digitally signed.
How to use Compact funds:
• Step 1: Compact members complete a funding request for individual employees to take specific trainings.
• Step 2: After the approval, the employee is free to register or be registered!

Which organizations qualify to join the Compact?Trainees must be:
– Paid employees of the compact member (not elected officials, volunteers or interns)
– At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent
