Learn the skills and techniques you need to enter Maine’s welding industry with Workforce Welding I!
- Cost: $0 ($1300 value)
- Class Capacity: 6-12 trainees
- Class meets Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights, and attendance is required.
- This training provides all materials and gear required. You will be responsible for purchasing appropriate footwear.
- This 45-hour training will introduce trainees to the basics of welding, focusing on safety and principles of the skillset. Students will use the SMAW welding process (stick welding) and will learn to make minor repairs on potential work projects.
- Applying for this training does not guarantee you acceptance into the program. Applicants will be required to attend an in-person information session (date TBD).
- Applications for this course will not be accepted after Friday, March 6th.
