Second Annual Performing for the Pets Talent Show

KVCC welcomes the community to show us your talent!
The talent show will be on the Alfond Campus in Moody Chapel.
March 21, 2025
Doors open at 4:30 pm, Performances begin at 5:00 pm
Admission to the event is free with the donation of a pet-friendly item, pet food, or cash donation to benefit the Somerset Humane Society.

The evening’s host is Dr. Mark Kavanaugh.

This event is sponsored by the KVCC Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) Club.

Comfort food and beverages will be available for purchase.
The KVCC Business Club will be selling Lucky 7 Basket Raffles this evening. Raffles will be drawn at the show.

Talent Show Parameters

· Registration Deadline: Monday, March 17.
· Open to all ages: Everyone is welcome.
· Talent types: Singing, dancing, instrumental music, skits, magic, comedy, martial arts, juggling. No Lip-Synching, please.
· Registration Form: Must be submitted (found below)
· Performance Length: 3-4 minutes, 10 minutes max.
· Content Guidelines: Absolutely no profanity or insensitive subject matter will be permitted.
· Costumes: Must be appropriate for all age groups.
· Props and Costumes: Acts are responsible for their props and costumes. NO pyrotechnics, open flames, water, or any other dangerous items.
· Screening: All performances will be reviewed for appropriateness by the Talent Show Committee.
· Equipment: Microphones provided; acts must bring their own music, instruments, props, etc. Music MUST be on a USB flash drive (MP3 or WAV) and submitted a week prior. Music will be reviewed. If your act requires recorded accompanying music, the music must be provided to the Talent Show Committee at least a week prior to the event.
· Prizes: Awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places.
· Entrance fees for acts: $5 for student acts, $10 for faculty, staff, and community acts (per act, not per performer), fee is due on the day of the show.
· Photos: Performers agree to allow photos of their acts.
