What is “Our Bodies, Our Minds” (OBOM)?

A nonprofit organization called Art With Impact is hosting this workshops as part of the KVCC Speaker Series. Art With Impact is a nonprofit organization that works with colleges and universities throughout the U.S. and Canada. OBOM, is an interactive workshop that strives to create a safer community for survivors of sexual violence.

OBOM is a theater-based workshop and this event will be centered around engaging those who attend in different forms of activities and scenarios that aims at exploring issues around sexual violence and those who have survived it.

The event also will feature a panel of community experts and survivors who will answer questions and share their own experiences with this difficult topic. Whether for academic or personal reasons, this is an amazing event that will surely help bring perspective to an issue that is sadly occurs to often in our communities.
