COMMUNITY DAY 2026
This day is designed to allow students to spend some stress-free time just getting to know the campus. You will meet other students as well as the faculty and staff. There will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions, learn about the different opportunities for extracurricular activities, and begin the process for your ID and parking pass. Plus, receive your academic program t-shirt, be in the school picture and have a free BBQ lunch!

8:00-9:00 – Arrival and Welcome to New Students
- Student Check-in. Register at the tables located at the entrance to the Carter Hall Kennebec Room. Receive your schedule and name tag.
- Visit the tables around the room to learn about clubs, organizations, key departments
- Get Photo for school ID and begin the parking pass procedure!
9:00- 9:50
- Welcome remarks and brief introductions
- Too many balls in the air! Oh No!
- Small Group activity
10:00-11:00
- KVCC 101- Presentation of key skills and knowledge for college success. Here is a great chance to get many answers to your questions.
11:10-11:45 – Returning Students are Welcome
- Academic Program Time – Meet your instructors, get t-shirt, hear details about your program
11:50-12:00
- KVCC Photo- Put your t-shirt on for the big KVCC photo
12:00- Lunch
12:30
- Academic Program time if required (this will depend on your program)
- Optional tech help with our Advising Center (Brightspace, get your schedule, etc.)
