KVCC is an Efficiency Maine Registered Trainer for Heat Pump Installer Training, and this 40-hour training meets Efficiency Maine Heat Pump Installer Training requirements needed to qualify for rebates, financing, and sales leads. *New content – covers Low GWP-A2L flammable refrigerant training.

Cost: $1,100 + the cost of tools.
Class Capacity: 6-15 trainees

This training is paired with KVCC’s separately offered EPA Section 608 Refrigerant Certification Course (1/10/26).

This training is eligible for the Harold Alfond Center for the Advancement of Maine’s Workforce Grant:
50% of course cost, up to $1200, available for eligible workers; organizations must join the Maine Workforce Development Compact to be eligible for funds.
