Congratulations to Our 2020 Graduates!

CAPS, GOWNS, STOLES:
Pick up in the Enrollment Services Center (ESC), Frye Building, Fairfield beginning April 21st
All caps and gowns MUST be picked up before May 1st
If you have earned an honor cord, it will be in the bag with your regalia
ESC Hours:  Monday through Thursday 8 AM to 5 PM and Friday 9 AM to 4 PM.

SPECIAL ACCOMMODATIONS:
Graduates or guests who need special accommodation for seating or other individual services should contact the President’s Office at 453-5129, as soon as possible and no later than Friday, May 8.

Invitations to recipients of academic awards will be mailed by the end of April. If you receive an invitation and are attending the event, please feel free to wear your honor cord, which will be in the package with your regalia. Family, friends, and classmates of award recipients are encouraged to attend.

COMMENCEMENT:

*Students who signed up to walk in commencement but find they cannot attend must notify the Academic Affairs Office by emailing registrar@kvcc.me.edu

Time: Please plan to arrive by 9:00 a.m.
Location: Augusta Civic Center

  • All graduates, faculty, staff and administrators participating in Commencement should be at the Augusta Civic Center by 9:00 a.m.
    Enter through the doors at the North Wing (on the right side of the ACC)  Please Note:  All other guests must enter through the front doors.
  • Faculty will be meeting in the Lincoln & Oxford Rooms.
  • Graduates will be meeting in the North Wing.
  • Platform party will be meeting in the Green Room, Androscoggin/Aroostook Room
  • Commencement exercises begin promptly at 10:00 a.m.
  • Commencement Speaker, Congressman Jared Golden
  • Diploma covers (without the actual diploma) will be handed to you when you cross the stage at graduation.

Diplomas will be available for pick-up in the Enrollment Services Center (Frye Building, Fairfield) after June 26th.

  • Guests Seating is first come, first serve.  Please be aware floor level seating fills Once the floor seats are full, guests will be directed to the balcony. Doors open at 9 a.m.
  • Security Consider leaving purses, bags, backpacks, etc. at home/car. Items are subject to being checked upon entry.

GRADUATE/PRESIDENT PHOTO ORDER:
Photographers will photograph each graduate as they receive the diploma cover from the President and as they exit the stage. Graduates will receive a mailing of information as to how to order photos.

LIVESTREAM VIDEO:
Commencement will be live streamed so that family and friends unable to attend can watch the full ceremony live. The link will be provided once available.
