1.)   Oxford Reference Online - Premium Edition.  The Premium Collection enhances the 100+ books in the Core Collection with an expanding range of key titles in the acclaimed Oxford Companions series plus the Oxford Dictionary of Quotations. This means an additional 140,000 entries, including 50,000 longer, in-depth, signed entries with bibliographies.

2.)   Content enhancements have been added to the Lunder Library Online Catalog.  Now, as you search for a book, video, magazine, or other library item you will see color images of each item along with a new “More About This Item” icon (see below).  When you click the new icon you will be presented with a summary, reviews, tables of contents, etc.  Enhanced content will vary from item to item.

3.)   Free book and video delivery for online/remote students.  It is with great pleasure that we announce to you a new library service targeted at online students and students taking classes in remote locations. Lunder Library will now mail books, videos, and other library materials directly to your home, along with a postage-paid return envelope which you can simply drop into any mailbox when you are done. To use this service:

* Search for books and videos on the library’s online catalog
* E-mail your request to library@kvcc.me.edu
       ~ Specify your mailing address
       ~ Identify the material you want shipped to you
* Receive your request within 2-3 days
* To return: put the book/video into the post-paid envelope provided, seal, and drop into a mailbox

This online encyclopedia is tailored to researchers and students looking for relevant, readable, and trusted sources of science information available.
