New Student Orientation (NSO)

The mission of New Student Orientation is to assist in welcoming new students to life on their college campus and to actively engage current students in leadership roles to facilitate this process. Our staff and orientation leaders assist future students, their parents, and other guests in understanding the KVCC expectations and policies as well as how to obtain these and other resources throughout the school year. Attending an orientation session provides students with the tools to succeed and to feel a part of their campus community before stepping foot into the classroom.
