The training program is designed to enable experienced gas industry managers, sales representatives and service technicians to properly size and install gas service connections for large industrial and commercial gas-fired equipment and systems. Topics covered include determining gas supply requirements, identifying characteristics and functions of valve trains and ignition safety systems, identifying characteristics and functions of safety controls and burner designs, and identifying system testing and start-up procedures. At the completion of this course students will take the National CETP Exam which will be sent for grading, and if successful will receive a certificate of completion from CETP (Certified Employee Training Program).
