Maine Guide
This course prepares the student to become a Maine Guide at all levels including Master Guide.  Topics include safety, survival, map and compass use, fore safety, ethics, legal aspects of guiding, ecology, organization and management techniques, and personal skills.  Topographical maps, rule books, etc. are provided for you.  A one-day Basic First Aid workshop will be held on Saturday.  Course is taught by topic area experts.

It Is Not intended For Anyone Wishing To Become A White Water Guide Or Interested In Specialized Kayaking.
