PHY213 Radiographic
Physics
3 Credits
This course
introduces the fundamental principles of
physics and electronics involved in the
production, use, and control of the various
electromagnetic energies used in medical and
diagnostic applications. Topics include
electromagnetic waves, electricity and
magnetism, electrical energy, power and
circuits as they relate to radiography. The
course, include basic mathematical concepts
for the solution of radiology related
problems. Upon completion, students should
be able to demonstrate an understanding of
basic principles of physics as they relate
to the operation of radiographic equipment.
