Academic advising is a collaborative relationship between a student and an academic advisor who work together to develop meaningful educational goals. The objectives of the Advising and Career Center are to:
- Provide quality information and services to students;
- Assist students in developing an educational plan for graduation or transfer;
- Serve students in choosing majors or occupations and assist them in developing their employability skills;
- Provide registration services to all students when faculty advisors are unavailable;
- and Connect students to appropriate resources on and/or off campus.
The Advising and Career Center is located in Carter Hall, Room 119, 453-5118.
