INDEPENDENT STUDY

   The subject matter for this course is developed by the student with permission of the Department

Chair and/or sponsoring faculty member. The subject matter must be relevant to an already existing course

at an advanced level.

Prerequisites:

1) Have attained at least a 3.0 grade point average.

2) Be in the second year of an Associate Degree program or have successfully completed 30

credit hours.

3) Achieved a “B” or better in a course related to the proposed independent study topic.
