Verla Ubert MA, PT, MBA
PTA Program Director
Verla Ubert received her AAS in physical therapy from Nassau Community College,
BS/MA in physical therapy from Touro College, and MBA from Baruch College.
She has held the positions of administrative coordinator and assistant professor at Long Island University
Division of Physical Therapy, adjunct associate professor at the Katharine Gibbs School Healthcare Management Program, and instructor of the physical therapy aide program at Wilson Technological Center. She has also held the positions of manager of rehabilitation services at Winthrop
University Hospital Home Health Agency and supervisor of physical therapy at
Franklin Medical Center. Verla has clinical experience in acute care,
rehabilitation, long term care, pediatrics, and home care.
Linda Hepfner PT
Academic Coordinator of Clinical Education/ Instructor
Linda Hepfner received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of New
England, Biddeford Maine in 1985. She is currently enrolled at Saint Joseph’s
College in Standish, Maine in the Master program in Adult Education. Prior to
teaching at KVCC, Linda was working in Home Care as a physical therapist with a
special interest in geriatrics. Linda is an active member of the Maine Chapter
APTA and is an APTA Credentialed Clinical Instructor.
