ACADEMIC ADVISOR. Advisor to Liberal Studies undecided students and coordinate summer unregistered students process to ensure that all new students have the opportunity to register.

CAREER COUNSELOR for the campus.  I work with current students who want help choosing a major or an occupation. These services are offered individually or I teach a one (1) credit Career Decision Making class each semester that most students find very helpful. (it is designated as CDM 010 and you can find it on the web on our most current schedule for upcoming classes).

TRANSFER COUNSELOR As the Transfer Counselor for the college, I assist all students in navigating the transfer process to another higher education institution.  I also coordinate the AdvantageU program which guarantees admission to the University of Maine System after successful completion of the KVCC Associate in Arts in Liberal Studies degree.

NEW STUDENT ORIENTATION (NSO) Coordinator of the New Student Orientation program.

Credentials: Career Development Facilitator Instructor, National Certification. Masters Ed. - College Student Services Administration (Oregon State University). B.S. Forestry Administration (University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point);

Professional Affiliations: National Career Development Association; National Academic Advising Association; Past President of the Maine Career Development Association (2005 - 2007).

Committees: Diversity On Campus Committee; First Year Student Committee, Curriculum Committee. 

Community : Mid Maine Regional Adult Education Advisory Board; University of Maine Admissions Advisory Board.
