ACADEMIC ADVISOR. Advisor to Liberal Studies undecided students and coordinate summer unregistered students process to ensure that all new students have the opportunity to register. CAREER COUNSELOR for the campus. I work with current students who want help choosing a major or an occupation. These services are offered individually or I teach a one (1) credit Career Decision Making class each semester that most students find very helpful. (it is designated as CDM 010 and you can find it on the web on our most current schedule for upcoming classes). Check out the Career website for resources and "How to Choose a Major at KVCC" TRANSFER COUNSELOR As the Transfer Counselor for the college, I assist all students in navigating the transfer process to another higher education institution. I also coordinate the AdvantageU program which guarantees admission to the University of Maine System after successful completion of the KVCC Associate in Arts in Liberal Studies degree.
