Mission Statement                      

The purpose of the KVCC Academic Advising Program is to assist students in developing a plan to reach their professional and personal goals. At KVCC, Academic Advising is based on a system of shared responsibility between the student and his or her advisor. Academic Advising is a process of continuous improvement, clarification, and evaluation with the aim of furthering institutional advising goals and desired student outcomes in an atmosphere of dignity and respect.
