KVCC College Store Hours

The KVCC College Store is located in King Hall on the first floor.

During the Fall Semester the KVCC College Store hours are:

     Monday through Wednesday: 7:30 am to 4:00 pm

     Thursday: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm

     Friday, from 7:30 am to 2:00 pm

We are closed on holidays, weekends and other days that the campus is closed.   During the beginning of each new semester, the KVCC College Store will have extended hours. Hours will be posted outside the KVCC College Store and will be sent in advance to your KVCC e-mail.

STUDENT ACCOUNTS

Summer 2012 students will not be able to charge their books using their student accounts until May 22, 2012.

Fall 2012 students will not be able to charge their books using their student accounts until August 13, 2012.

Student accounts close the last day of drop/add. After accounts close, books/supplies may no longer be purchased on account.

Please have your schedule with you when you come to buy your textbooks, as this is how we determine which textbooks you need. Also, all students that are being sponsored by an outside agency (ex. Career Center, TDC, etc...) please bring a copy of the voucher from the sponsor to expedite the process.

Before you get your books, have the KVCC College Store staff check to ensure your name is on our financial aid/sponsor list. If it is not, you will need to contact the cashier’s office before you can charge your books.

Textbook Reservations/Bundling is available for your convenience.
Please provide the following information: a copy of your schedule, if you want new or used copies pulled for you, and how you're going to pay (Financial Aid or credit card). Due to the amount of time involved for the staff to process these Reservations, we must end receiving them the Monday prior to Financial Aid beginning for that semester. You may pick up your Bundle during the Financial Aid period through the end of the first week of classes for that semester. This service is easy and fast for you.-No lines; no waiting!

We accept Visa, Master Card, and Discover credit cards, as well as cash or checks.

REFERENCE MATERIALS

The KVCC College Store carries a selection of reference materials. If you are having difficulty in a class, chances are we have something that can help you. If we do not have a particular item you are looking for, we can order it for you. We also now offer online ordering for medical reference materials. We carry a large selection of logo items to include: Clothing, Tote Bags, Coffee Mugs, Glassware, Pens/Pencils, Hats, Binders, Stickers, Stuffed Animals, etc.

Students and staff may purchase software at academic prices through the KVCC College Store.
 

FAX MACHINE SERVICES

Fax machine service is available at the KVCC College Store.

POSTAGE STAMP SERVICE

The KVCC College Store offers postage stamps for sale.

UPS AUTHORIZED SHIPPER

The KVCC College Store is an Authorized UPS Shipper. You can ship your packages via UPS without having to leave the campus.
 

BOOK BUYBACK

The KVCC College Store holds book buyback two times a year, during the week of finals for the fall and spring semesters ONLY. There is no buyback for the summer semester. During these two weeks, we will be buying books back from students. Guidelines are as follows:

1. Book buyback is the week of finals for the fall and spring semesters.

2. Books being used for the following semester will be purchased at

    50% of retail.

3. Books no longer used may be purchased for a used book company.

4. Study guides, software, or books with diskettes may be purchased at

    our discretion.

We will not know the price that we will pay for books until buyback time.
 

KVCC College Store Returns Policy

All returns must have a corresponding receipt from the KVCC College Store.
Books may be returned if the wrong book was purchased or you have dropped the course. In the case of a dropped course, you must provide proof of the drop by providing us with a copy of you changed schedule. Defective books will be exchanged for the same book, no refunds will be issued. All returns will require a register receipt and must be completed by the end of Add/Drop Period. No exceptions! Books purchased after the add/drop period are not returnable. Non-textbook merchandise may be returned in new resalable condition within 14 days of purchase with original receipt. All returns must be in original condition with all tags, packaging, and inserts. Books that are shrink-wrapped at time of purchase and are unwrapped may not be returned. All custom course packs that are purchased are not returnable. Software, electronics, and CDs/DVDs are not returnable, except in the case of defect. Defect must be verified by the IT Department at KVCC. If opened, a return will not be accepted. Special Orders: The price of the special ordered book, plus the price of shipping must be prepaid. If the KVCC College Store runs out of a textbook, no extra shipping charges will be charged.

We are establishing strict guidelines for returns to prevent loss to KVCC. We have to abide by the return policies of our publishers, which require overstock to be returned shortly after the semester has begun. Any profits made by the store are used to reduce the cost of tuition for students. Enforcing a strict return policy will ensure that costs can be kept down for present and future students.
