NUR - Responsibilities

Nurses work in medical centers, doctors offices, nursing homes, and nearly anywhere medical services are provided.

They must have a very strong science background, in particular in Anatomy & Physiology.

Excellent decision-making skills are required as nurses are often providing direct medical care to very sick people. Even though they may be under the supervision of a physician, they are often responsible for care with no physician immediately around.

They must make many decisions that can be life threatening.
