Radiologic Technology

Significant Points

Must have strong science and math aptitudes (skills) in order to be successful passing the Rad Tech registry exam.

Most jobs will be in the hospital setting and you will begin on the 2nd or 3rd shift.

This is a physically demanding job (have to move patients of varying weight, age, and capability) and you will be on your feet for most of the day.

Can be very stressful and fast paced.

Work on repetitive procedures each day.  The process does not change much daily.

Should have good "bed side" manner for patients who can be very distraught.
