Must have a good understanding of Anatomy and Physiology to assist patients with improving movement of muscles or joints.

PTAs work under the direction and supervision of a physical therapist.

They provide help for all parts of the body to everyone from infants to the elderly.

They provide physical therapy interventions that help people prevent injuries, restore movement, and alleviate pain.

And may work in hospitals, private clinics, rehabilitation centers, nursing homes, schools, home care agencies, or fitness centers
