Tuesday, June 17, 2014 1:59 PM

Kennebec Valley Community College will hold its first-ever “Admit in a Day” event July 24 giving potential students a one-stop option for enrolling in a program for the fall 2014 semester.

The event will be held from 1-5 p.m. in the King Hall Campus Center on the Fairfield campus. Those interested should plan to bring an official sealed copy of their high school transcript, immunization records, and 2013 federal tax forms and W-2 forms.

The event is free and open to the public and the application fee will be waived for those attending.

Prospective students will be guided by professional advisors as they take placement tests, fill out applications, apply for financial aid, and be reviewed for admission in a four hour period.

Anyone with questions about the event should call 453-5822.

This farm is a work in progress.

We'll do our best not to bore you, but we're going to talk numbers. We're going to talk about how we make decisions, about what worked, and more importantly, what didn't work. We hope we can be a resource for students and farmers, for skeptics and city-folk alike; anyone, really, interested in what it looks like to build a farm from scratch.
