Kennebec Valley Community College Open House April 25


FAIRFIELD, HINCKLEY, ME – Kennebec Valley Community College (KVCC) will hold an Open House Saturday, April 25 at both the Fairfield and Hinckley campuses of the College.

The KVCC Spring Open House will be held from 9 a.m.-noon on both campuses and will provide an opportunity to meet faculty and staff, ask questions, tour the campuses, and explore options for the summer and fall semesters.

KVCC is offering new and exciting programs this fall including Design-Build (Timber-Frame) construction, Welding, Computer Systems Integration, Culinary Arts, Sustainable Agriculture, and evening Electrical Technology and Medical Assisting program options.

Visit KVCC’s new facilities including the updated Precision Machining Technology Lab, the new Sustainable Agriculture Building, the Culinary Arts Kitchen and Demonstration Kitchen, and the Macintosh Lab and Learning Commons. Each facility features new technology and state-of-the-art equipment.

Visit the Fairfield Campus at 92 Western Avenue to speak with faculty from the Trades and Technology Department and Nursing Programs. In addition, faculty from the Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Respiratory Therapy, Medical Assisting, Radiologic Technology, Phlebotomy, Emergency First Responders and Health Information Technology programs will be available.

The new Harold Alfond Campus at 23 Stanley Road in Hinckley will feature programs in Business, Early Childhood Education, Mental Health, Liberal Studies, Culinary Arts, and Sustainable Agriculture.

Registration for both summer and fall classes is now open. The summer semester begins May 18. The fall semester begins September 8.
