The 2015 event was a tremendous success with fantastic food, prizes, auction items, and most importantly tremendous fundraising support to benefit KVCC student enrollment and academic success.

With sponsor and guest help, we:

Achieved record breaking attendance- 227 guests!

Set the bar for extraordinary scholarship support- $25,900 was raised during the scholarship auction!

Realized record breaking gross revenue- $84,000!

KVCC Foundation Spring Gala RSVP

Thanks to the many sponsors, contributors, and guests the annual KVCC Foundation Jazz Gala celebrates KVCC students and programs and unites business and community members together in support of students. Nearly 80% of KVCC students meet federal low-income guidelines, in fact the average family household income for these students is $20,984. Although the majority of KVCC students receive financial aid, the burden of unmet financial need is staggering. Funds raised through the Jazz Gala make a true difference in empowering  students to persist in their studies and achieve their academic and career aspirations.

Many Thanks to our generous sponsors!

"At KVCC, I am enrolled in the Electrical Lineman Technology Program. I greatly enjoy the program and cannot wait to get out in the “real world” to put all of this knowledge to great use. I pride myself in working hard and doing what is best for my family. My wife and I have been working extra hard to provide for our young son and our household. This scholarship will be a huge burden off our shoulders. I feel so honored that you chose me, thank you! It is a truly humbling feeling knowing that there are people out there, like yourself, who choose to support and help others." Christopher Vincent 2015

"I am in my third semester at KVCC. This money you're sending will go a long way in paying for the many costs I have associcated with being a full-time student. I love attending KVCC and have felt successful as a student for the first time in my life. Supporters like yourself and the KVCC Foundation are such wonderful supporters in assisting students in completing their educational dreams." Elizabeth Roy Liberal Studies, 2015
